چکیده
Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD), also known as sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy, is a rare histiocytic disorder characterized by lymph node invasion and extranodal symptoms. The number of patients reported heretofore less than 1,000, it shows predilection to certain groups: younger age, African race, male sex. Herein, we report middle-aged Asian female who presented us single inflamed skin nodule on her left cheek, which finally concluded an symptom RDD. At first, the lesion was believed be epidermal cyst. Though excision performed, recurred chronic ulcer. As did not heal well despite 3 months repetitive dressings, wide curettage were performed. Immunohistochemistry study excised specimen diagnosed Six after last excision, there no recurrence or complications. This offers possibility RDD in showing ulcers being accompanied suggests surgical preferred option manifestation
